Paolo Beltramini is first Clarinet of the Swiss-Italian Orchestra. He has won over 20 national and international contests. He is the only italian clarinetist that has earned the first place at the prestigious Praga’s Spring contest in 1996. He reached second place in the International Contest for chamber music in Paris (1996), first palce at the Chamber music contest of Trapani in 1997 and has recived the award “Premio della Stampa”.
Such grate achivements placed  Paolo Beltramini as one of the most virtous and dedicated winds instruments experts in the international scene, according to the audience and the critics.
After graduating at the music conservatory “G. Verdi” in Milan at the age of 18, Paolo Beltramini has improved his skills at the School of high Enhancement of Salluzzo, alongsideT. Friedli and W. Boeykens. Then he graduated at the Accademy “Cinghia di Siena” where he was granted a honor degree and a scholarship at the Siae in 1987.  As a refined music performer was hosted in prestigious concertistis institutions and has performed in the most important concert chambers allover Europe, Asia, Africa, the United States and South America.
Paolo Beltramini has palyed compositions ofMozart, Nielsen, Mercadante, Rossini, Weber, Ponochielli, Francesconi, Anzaghi as a solist for the Swiss-Italian Orchestra, the Chamber orchestra of Mantova, Chamber S. Petersburg, Kurpfalzisches Kammerorchester Mannheim, the Sinphonic Orchestra of the slovenian radiotelevision, Prague Symphony Chamber Orchestra, the G. Cantelli Orchestra, Osnabruker Symphoniorchester, and the Virtous of Aquileia more than once.
Paolo Beltramini has also cooperated alongside M. Argerich, A. Lonquich, A. Lucchesini, G. Carmignola, E. Dindo, M. Bourge, M. Rizzi, M.Bruello, the Bibiena quintet and the Fiesole, Stamic and Prometheus quartes. He also performed as first clarinet with the Royal Concertgebouw orchestra of Amsterdam, the Filarmonica orchestra of the Scala theatre, the Rai’s National orchestra of Torino, the orchestra of  Saint Cecile of Rome, Mahler’s Chamber music Orchestra, the Chamber music Orchestra of Mantova, the Chamber music Italian Orchestra... under the direction of directors: B. Haitink, L. Mazel, G. Pretre, N. Jarvi, W. Askenazi, G. Sinopoli, M. Wung Chung, M. Jasson, D. Harding, A. Lombard, W. Delman, E. Imbal, S. Accardo, D. Gatti, M. Pletnev.
Paolo Beltramini is regulary invited as member of national and international contests’s jury. He is also a lecturer of Master Classes in Italy, Swizzerland, USA, Japan, France, China, Slovenia and Potugal. He has recorded for recording labels such as Chandos, Ricordi, Foint Cetra, Stradivarius, Rainbow, AS disc and RC. He has also took part in radiophonic recordings by Radio France, BBC, RAI, RTSI, Czech.
Paolo Beltramini is a “RIPA”, Silverstein, Legere. Reeds. artist and professor at the Hochschule school of  Luzern.
